Getting Started with XLGantt for Google Sheets

Thank you for installing XLGantt for Google Sheets.

Follow these steps to start using the add-on.

1. Open Google Sheets

Open a new or existing Google Sheets spreadsheet.

2. Find the XLGantt Menu

In Google Sheets, open:

Extensions > XLGantt for Google Sheets

If the menu does not appear, refresh the spreadsheet or close and reopen it.

3. Create a New Project Template

Click:

Create New Project Template

XLGantt will create the basic sheets needed for project scheduling:

- Schedule
- Progress
- Calendar
- AnalysisReport
- Progress_Data

4. Choose Your Language

The default language is English.

To change the language, open:

Extensions > XLGantt for Google Sheets > Options > Language

Supported languages:

- English
- Korean

5. Enter Your Project Tasks

Go to the Schedule sheet and enter:

- Task names
- Start dates
- Finish dates
- Resources
- Deliverables
- Actual progress

6. Update the Schedule

Click:

Extensions > XLGantt for Google Sheets > Update Schedule

The add-on will calculate the project schedule and update the Gantt chart.

7. Create Reports

You can generate analysis reports from the XLGantt menu, including:

- Progress by Resources
- Workloads by Weeks
- Workloads by Months
- Workloads by Resources
- Progress by Weeks
- Progress by Months
- Progress Data
